I would like to share a bit about myself. I am a pharmacist, licensed by the Ontario College of Pharmacists. I love education and have had a varied pathway to my current position as a hospital pharmacy manager in oncology in Ontario, Canada. I have an undergraduate background in Biology, Nursing and Pharmacy degrees. I have a doctorate in Pharmacy from UFL.
I am eager now to begin a new chapter at Athabasca University in the fall of 2024!
I do have to share that my biggest achievement are my three wonderful, kind, and caring children. My eldest child, is working in her field of on-line patient focused oncology web resources. She lives in Canada but works for a US company. My son, just graduated with an MS in electrical engineering is working in Boston. I just settled my youngest daughter, in NYC to begin her MPH.
I have 2 kitties who are named Mochi and Gelato. Their names were chosen because they are so sweet like desserts.
A little about my hobbies. I am a black belt in karate and I taught for a number of years leading up to Covid. I still exercise regularly. I love to travel and cook. My favorite thing to do on vacation is to take a cooking class. My last trip to Portugal, I learned how to make Pasteis de nata.
